This is a horribly late post but sometimes that's how life goes these days! We are so humbled, blessed and excited to let folks know that SLR's Annie Oakley was honoured with all 4/4 Best In Show wins at our last show at Farmfair International Edmonton. We are still in a bit of disbelief over this as it's really a dream come true for most of us bunny show people. We never would have dreamed of taking home all the top honours for a show weekend. We are so thankful to the show committee and the judges for the chance to show our bunnies and to pick Annie for these honours.
Here's some updated photos of the little doe who thought she could. We've finally had a chance to register this gal so will send in for her grand champion papers shortly.
Registered SLR's Annie Oakley - 14 legs, 5 of which are for BIS and another 2 for RIS wins.
Raising Holland Lops since 2000 we are located near Beaverlodge Alberta Canada and we strive to produce excellent show quality tri and tort Holland Lops.

An update!
We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! We have been hunkered down at home here for a bit after the last -30 - -50 cold spell we had but are now back enjoying the weather. It's been pretty quiet around here and that's partly because we haven't had internet in the house for the last year but we have a temporary connection now. We thought to post a bit of an update as we are just getting things organized to "start back up" for the new year.
The bunnies have had a long breeding break but we've nailed down a breeding list so will get that going as soon as the girls decide they are ready. We've kept back quite a few juniors from last year so have a barn full of young senior animals, we'll be parting with some of these guys after we go through them this next week so may have some show/brood stock available.
Just a reminder too that we start calving in April so I try to take a "bunny break" during April/May while we are the busiest with new calves.
We sure are blessed to have such great chore helpers and bunny cuddlers around here!
