This little guys lookin for a new home for winter time! He's an adorable little buck with a great personality to match. He's been handled lots by kids and adults so would make a good pet but he has nice enough type to also make a good brood buck. Good head, ears and crown with good bone, a good shoulder although a slight dip is present and a good midsection. He is a little pinched in the hindquarters and his color could be a bit cleaner. Brood $60 or pet $50(no papers)

We're posting some of our brood does for sale whom we have kept a replacement baby out of so these gals can go help someone else. * SOLD * SLR's F33 - Broken orange doe born on April 11 2016 out of GC Campo's Fire N' Ice(blk/org tri) and SLR's Torlee(blk/org harli). This gal has a beautiful little head, a good topline, great width in the front end and a powerful shoulder. She lacks width and substance to the midsection and needs a better hindquarter, ears are a bit wingy and bone is light. She'll be a good parts doe bred to a buck with a good hindquarter and heavy bone. Colors in background are blk/org tri & harli, blue otter, blue tort, chocolate, chestnut, black and black tort. She is not yet proven as she's only 5 months old, very sweet doe. Brood or pet $50.00

SLR's Jersey - Broken orange out of SLR's Chambler(blk/org tri) and Cutie Patootie T'fer Tigger(blk/org harli) DOB June 25 2014

Jersey has been a wonderful brood doe much like her mother above but better. She's a great doe to foster kits too and has her babies tucked into the nest all by herself. She is a smutty orange and has produced colors like blk/org tri & harli and oranges. Colors in background include blk/org tri & harli, blue/fawn harli, orange, blue otter, chestnut, chin and black steel. She's very much a doe in type and lacks thick bone and overall substance. Her crown is slipped & ears could be opened up. Cute little doe head and a wonderful personality. We're keeping a daughter and a son out of her so it's time for her to move on and give someone else some cute little babies.

Befores & Afters

Since I love taking photos, the bunnies usually get a few photos of themselves taken as long as they are here. The bonus side of this is that we can visually see how they mature and the changes or lack of changes from their baby to their older junior to their adult photos. Here's two bunnies that are still currently hanging around here that got new photos taken today. Minus getting in their adult coats the type hasn't changed too much! Both these bunnies were born on April 11/16 so are five months old - younger photo is posted first followed by the photo from today.

Upcoming Juniors

These are two little cuties that we've held back from the spring breedings. Both are very nice animals and I've added their "baby" photos to compare to the photos taken today - you can see how they've matured and changed!

SLR's Huckleberry Finn - Finn as we call him is a super cute little harli buck that we've held back as the harli buck for our program for the winter. He's got great "buck" features, nice ear, crown, head and bone. He's out of Reg. SLR's Tort 1 leg x Cutie Patootie T'fer Tigger and was born Feb 17/16 so is just turning six months or a senior tomorrow.

SLR's F31 a junior doe out of GC Reg. Campo's Fire N' Ice x SLR's Lonesome Dove - DOB Mar 4/16. This is a beautiful little gal who is still beautiful now that she's growing up!

 

FOR SALE Bunnies

I finally got around to getting some photos done of the latest litters and getting them tattooed yesterday! We've been a little busy here as I am expecting in a few weeks and we've had some complications the last couple weeks. So I have to apologize for the long wait times for e-mail replies lately but I'm afraid that they may get even longer in the next few weeks!

These are the last of the younger bunnies we have for now until the other litters arrive at the end of June. Not all of these guys will be available and some have interested parties already. If one of these little ones catches your eye then send me an e-mail (starlitrabbitry @ hotmail.com remove spaces)and I can let you know if it may be available or not. Due to baby coming we also won't be travelling to Calgary until fall so if you live anywhere outside of Beaverlodge or Grande Prairie then you'll have to find transportation for the bunny.

If I was going to keep one out of this litter it would be this gal based on type. She's got a great shoulder minus a little dip, good midsection and nice hind quarter plus a beautiful head/ear piece for a doe. She can be a show or brood doe. $80 for brood

New Breedings

We've been busy during calving season here but hauled our first group of pairs out to pasture today so things will hopefully start to wind down with the calving stuff soon!
