Today does feel like spring but I won't kid myself yet! We've went through some bunnies and bred a few today too. We'll have these three available right now and possibly some more at a later date. Please send me an e-mail at starlitrabbitry @ Hotmail.com (remove spaces) for more information and photos. I managed to drop my camera(okay so the kids pushed it off the dryer) and the lens bent so sometimes it focuses but other times not. So I can send some poor quality phone photos at this moment.
SLR's F118 Tort buck DOB Aug 25/19 Brood No DQ's but crown needs to develop, ears are above horizontal right now, could be shown but not what I consider "show". Needs to be more upright and needs to fill out but is a young buck. Nice head coming in if you look past his ears. $100
SLR's F112 Torted black and orange harlequin DOB Aug 1/19 Show(if the color was showable) $150 - I really don't mind if this dude stays here as he's developing so nicely. Love this buck and he's probably one of the nicest harlequin based bucks we've let go of. He's got wonderful mass and width especially for being such a young SR. He could use more depth and fullness in the loin area and needs more width to his crown to completely lop those ears. Would be an asset type wise to a tri program. Is torted and is a aaB-C-D-eje
* SOLD * SLR's F119 Tort doe DOB Aug 25/19 Brood no DQ's so could be shown but not what I consider "show" $120 Great width, mass and hindquarter on this doe. Does have a shoulder dip, longer in bone/overall then I like and needs more width to make those ears fully lop. Nice head. She would produce some nice kits if bred to a buck with a strong shoulder and a good crown. Is a bigger girl.
GC SLR's Sakari a black and orange tri doe
Raising Holland Lops since 2000 we are located near Beaverlodge Alberta Canada and we strive to produce excellent show quality tri and tort Holland Lops.

FOUR BIS wins!
This is a horribly late post but sometimes that's how life goes these days! We are so humbled, blessed and excited to let folks know that SLR's Annie Oakley was honoured with all 4/4 Best In Show wins at our last show at Farmfair International Edmonton. We are still in a bit of disbelief over this as it's really a dream come true for most of us bunny show people. We never would have dreamed of taking home all the top honours for a show weekend. We are so thankful to the show committee and the judges for the chance to show our bunnies and to pick Annie for these honours.
Here's some updated photos of the little doe who thought she could. We've finally had a chance to register this gal so will send in for her grand champion papers shortly.
Registered SLR's Annie Oakley - 14 legs, 5 of which are for BIS and another 2 for RIS wins.

An update!
We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! We have been hunkered down at home here for a bit after the last -30 - -50 cold spell we had but are now back enjoying the weather. It's been pretty quiet around here and that's partly because we haven't had internet in the house for the last year but we have a temporary connection now. We thought to post a bit of an update as we are just getting things organized to "start back up" for the new year.
The bunnies have had a long breeding break but we've nailed down a breeding list so will get that going as soon as the girls decide they are ready. We've kept back quite a few juniors from last year so have a barn full of young senior animals, we'll be parting with some of these guys after we go through them this next week so may have some show/brood stock available.
Just a reminder too that we start calving in April so I try to take a "bunny break" during April/May while we are the busiest with new calves.
We sure are blessed to have such great chore helpers and bunny cuddlers around here!

An updated list of whats available
These are some of the last bunnies that we will have available this year minus a couple litters that get weaned at the end of September. Those litters have broken torts, black bucks, an orange buck, black & orange harlequins and a tort? doe in them however I'm not sure on the qualities at this point.
Here's whats available now and we do have transport heading south from here to Calgary in mid September.
* SOLD * SLR's F91 Out of SLR's Fergus and SLR's Honeybee we kept this little dude back as a possible brood buck however he's an otter carrier so he's available to a new home. Born Jan 29/19. Decently typed buck but is missing overall width of body so he would be great with some wide brood does. Will produce tris and otters depending on what he's bred too. Shyer buck in the cage but pretty easy to handle once he's out. Pet or brood home - $80 for brood with pedigree or $30 for pet with no pedigree

This doe is bred for her first litter but will be available once they are weaned(End of Oct). Born March 11/19 and is a brood quality doe.
