Happy Fall/Winter!

Just wanted to post an update as we've been pretty quiet this summer and the reason why is that we've added a new little gal to our family! She's been a good baby for the most part but they sure still are work. We have managed, with God's grace, to get all our crop off this year as we put everything into silage and left nothing to combine which was the right thing to do with all the rain and snow we've had this fall. The cattle are still out on grass so things are quiet that way around home. We've had a few litters over the summer here and currently have two new litters and some juniors that are still available from the spring litters. Some of these weren't/aren't posted for sale as they were out of an new buck that we added in the late winter from the states and I wanted to hold back some of his juniors to see how they developed. It's a great opportunity for local folks to get some "outside" genetics. Contact me to see what's currently available. starlitrabbitry @ hotmail.com (remove spaces).

The two new litters are:

Registered SLR's Oreo(broken black) x SLR's Torlee(torted black and orange harlequin) Kindled on Sept 11 and has one broken tort buck and one tort doe. This is a repeat breeding as the last time I crossed these two the does that were produced were really nice!

Registered SLR's Oreo(broken black) x SLR's Honeybee(black and orange harlequin who carries otter) Kindled on Sept 25 and had two broken blacks, one tort and one black and orange tri. These guys are too young to sex at the moment so we'll know who's who later.

We've already had six inches of snow this fall plus a lot of rain(there was 2 inches in the rain gage the one time it was emptied) and the weather has been hovering around -5 - 5 degrees so it really feels like we skipped fall and this is in fact winter!
