Another cute little tri doe

This gal is believe it or not a sibling to Ranger in the previous post. She's out of SLR's Chambler and SLR's Athena. She's a bit light in the orange coloring but has a beautiful body type! I thought she would be more of a brood type doe but I took her out and she sits up and shows off just like a show doe would, so we'll see if she makes it out to some shows or not! She's be used as a brood doe here as she should only be able to produce A tris which are clean in color so we have our fingers crossed.

Here's the cute little gal and she's only 3 months in these photos!

Meet SLR's Ranger

Although we're supper excited about the little tri doe in the previous post, I just had to get this ittle guy on here too as he's just adorable! It is true that we only have a tri & tort program but have had one chestnut doe hanging around who had another chestnut doe and then along came Ranger. He's a broken chestnut buck and super cute to boot. He's got a great head/ear piece and his body is nice and smooth. Keep in mind tht this little guy is ony three months old in these photos, he's just a kid!

Anyways here's Ranger.

A very gorgeous tri doe!

This is a gal who has been introduced in earlier posts but we've taken some new photos now that shes coming out of her ugly stage. She's out of SLR's Buster a clean tri buck and GC SLR's Moxie and seems to have gotten the best out of both parents. She is a torted tri however her type makes up for the color not being quite right.

Her earlier photos are here as a comparison to how she's grown and is coming out of those uglies! By looking at her sitting there you'd think that she's a buck and she's still a junior!

Here's a younger photo of her.
Here's what she looks like now!

For Sale SLR's Hazer

Hazer is full sibling to GC SLR's Bailey and out of GC SLR's Tritan(4th top lop) and GC SLR's Moxie. He's a really cute buck looking for a great pet home to live happily ever after in. I believe this little guy has a bit of heart issues but haven't taken a radiograph yet to check. For this reason we don't want to breed him or show him as he gets stressed out easily. He is a beautiful boy who loves his cuddles and is very curious about everything during his play times. He will be free but is looking for the right home!

Here's some photo's of him from summer time.

For Sale Chestnut SR Buck

We've had this little guy around for awhile now but have never shown him nor bred him although he was proven when he came to us! He's a very nice fellow to look at with a great head/ear/crown piece but we just don't need another buck around especially a chesnut. I believe he's got some Campo behind him but I'll have to peek at his ped(which is in Beaverlodge) to be sure and get a birthday. He's $40 to a pet home or $60 as a brood buck.

You'll have to excuse the photo as it's off my cell phone and not a very good one at that! I've had the worst luck with vechiles and cameras this weekend and although I have taken a bunch of new photos of the juniors and some seniors here I can't upload them as my SD card isn't reading on the computer. So hopefully it works at home! Anyways here's the chestnut! E-mail me at starlitrabbitry@hotmail.com with any questions.

Number 4th Top Lop

So we've just got our copy of the Hollander in the mail yesterday and are excited to see GC SLR's Tritan has moved into the 4th Top Lop for 2010 position! This is the first year that we've ever competed within the HLRSC so that's awesome news to see how we stack up against some of the other fablous breeders out there.

I'm heading south next weekend to visit the bunnies in Calgary and see the new babies there and some of the promising juniors out of Tritan so we'll post some photos then plus get some new ones of him!
He's two older photos first and one of his mom GC SLR's Randall as a junior!

Meet Reg SLR's Garnet

This handsome guy is out of a very deep orange and clean tri buck SLR's Kai. He was the first sone produced by him and he was lucky to get the fantastic coloring! He is a good example of a clean and correct tri color buck, heck he's even pretty cute to boot! Garnets just missing that extra "something" that it takes to place first in his classes so he's been retired to the breeding barns.
